Dave Gunning
With over two decades on the road, Nova Scotia's Dave Gunning has earned a reputation as one of Canada's most engaging and respected folk singer-songwriters. A multiple East Coast Music Award and Canadian Folk Music Award winner, he's known for his warm stage presence, razor-sharp wit, and songs that celebrate everyday heroes and hard truths.
Gunning has shared the stage with legends like Ron Hynes, Rita MacNeil, and Matt Andersen, and remains deeply rooted in his home community of Pictou County. In June 2025, he travelled to Point Lonsdale, Australia to record Field Notes, his fifteenth studio album, a stripped-back and emotionally rich collection that gets to the heart of what he does best.
Aaron Malley
Aaron Malley is the Founder and Lead Educator of Mix It Up Mixology, an Atlantic Canada–based cocktail education and event company specializing in interactive classes, private experiences, and large-scale spirits events.
A WSET Award in Spirits holder with international bartending experience, Aaron has delivered over 250 cocktail workshops, trained hospitality teams, and produced regional bartending competitions and festivals. His work blends classic cocktail foundations with modern technique, storytelling, and guest-focused hospitality.
Aaron has taught and worked with audiences ranging from first-time cocktail enthusiasts to industry professionals, including delivering cocktail education and guest experiences at luxury resorts in the Maldives. Known for his approachable teaching style and elevated yet accessible approach to drinks, he focuses on creating memorable experiences that go beyond the glass.
Through Mix It Up Mixology, Aaron continues to elevate cocktail culture across Atlantic Canada through education, events, and community-driven experiences.
